| Founded in
1992 by residents, Dave Butler and Dave Collard, the annual Durrington
Festival* has become a highlight in Worthing’s social calendar.
The glorious committee featured below continue a long and illustrious
tradition of championing a community of which they feel pride –
despite the sometimes bad press. The committee comprise members of all
ages who are drawn from the residents of the area as well as attracting
volunteers from the business, education and religious communities. The
focus of the committee is to organise, manage and resource a week long
celebration of what Durrington has to offer.

of performers, groups, charities and business to promote what is good
about living and working in Durrington.
* The Festival was awarded a Worthing honour in 1998 in recognition
of its service to the community and is regularly featured on radio, TV
and in the press.
